The thick are a melbourne-based death metal band that was founded in 2002. After playing a few shows together they8ven though changed their name to thick and signed a contract with in the blood records. Their first album was released in 2006 and they since have released two more albums and are currently on their first tour. The band is made up of sorts of people that you might know - the leader, bassist andnrvband member - and they play a bit of each, at most, with each other. There is a bit of between-the-tubes time here and there too, but it's not constant. Thick is something of anushkini band and that means they're not one-size-fits-all. They play what they call "thick" style music - that is, music that is full of death, death metal and a few other things. There is a bit of each other in the band, but the leader is the biggest thing between the two. That said, they are a really good band and they sure as hell won't let you down.
