VersaEmerge is a rock trio originally from Port St. Lucie, Florida in the United States, currently on the Fueled By Ramen label. They have already released three EP, Cities Built On Sand, Perceptions, and VersaEmerge, and their first album, Fixed At Zero is scheduled for June 22, 2010.VersaEmerge formed after that the Group of two of the founding members, My Fair Veronaseparated. The Group of Florida VersaEmerge formed when Blake Harnage and Anthony Martone were in high school. They were originally in a group called "my fair verona". After the separation of the group, Harnage and Marton founded their own group. They chose the name "versaemerge" in connection with vice versa which expresses opposition and "emerge" meaning elevation. The Group recorded its first EP, "cities built On sand", in 2005, with former members: Spencer Pearson on vocals, Anthony James on vocals and synthesizer, Josh Center on guitar and Nick Osbourne on bass. With the departure of four members, the Group recruited bassist Devin "Dirty D" Ingelido of Bury The Ashes. The following year, current vocalist Sierra Kusterbeck sends a registration online to apply for the position of singer of the group. While Anthony Martone, Devin Ingelido and James Lano are not to engage Kusterbeck, Harnage convinced that it is suitable for the position, and she soon joined the group in 2007.Mais they do not know that Kusterbeck lied about his agesaying having 18 years when it was actually 16, to obtain a hearing. The group plays on local scenes and went on tour with smaller groups like Kiros, Our Last Night, There for Tomorrow and Craig Owens. They work hard and leave their EP, "Perceptions", in May 2008.Ils separate from guitarist James Lano, replaced by Jerry Pierce. VersaEmerge later signed on the Fueled By Ramen label. They begin to compose and write their namesake EP, with producer James Paul Wisner. The EP comes out February 3, 2009, and is available on the Fueled By Ramen online store, iTunes and at their concerts.
