The Wailers is a Jamaican founded in 1962 by Robert Nesta Marley Neville Livingston (later known as Bunny Wailer) and Winston Hubert McIntosh (later known as the name of Bob Marley), (later known as Peter Tosh). Without Ermine Green, who left the group two weeks before, they succeed in seducing Coxsone agrees to produce provided that they have shortened their name to "the wailers". After the arrival of a new recruit, Beverley Kelso, they thus record their first piece, Simmer Down. The drive is a success and well out in front of Jamaica sales for two months, during which they recorded 30 songs with The Skatalites, the backing band of Studio One, until the end of August, when "Junior" leaves the Jamaica. At its last session, "Junior" sings It Hurts To Be Alone, which will be their second success. Now four, the Wailers continue to register and get a third success with Lonesome Feeling. They encounter the Soulettes, with which they began a long collaboration. Neville was called Bunny. After the departure of Beverley Kelso, in May 1965, the three boys harden their image. They become the rudies and attend some gunmen. They wear tight costumes, peas and Clarke's shoes passes. Bob is call Tuff Gong. Two successive tubes mark this period, Rude Boy and I'm Still Waiting. Bob married Alpharita Anderson, singer of the Soulettes, February 10, 1966.Le next day, he left to join his mother in Wilmington, Delaware. During the eight months that Bob passes to the United States, Constantine "Vision" Walker, Rita cousin and member of the Soulettes, replaces it with the Wailers, who know a new success with The Toughest.
