Tegan and Sara is a group of Indie music and native Canadian Folk of Alberta. Their first public recognition occurs in 1998 when they won the Garage Warz Battle of the Bands under the name "Sara and tegan" (name of registration that had given them their mother), a local Calgary music competition. The following year will be Under Feet Like bears still under the name "Sara and tegan". The duo is then noticed by Elliot Roberts, President of Vapor Records (Neil Young Recording Studio), with which they sign for the album This Business of Art (2000). Tegan and Sara cycled through with If It Was You in 2002.So Jealous, produced by Tegan and Sara with the help of John Collins, David Carswell et Howard Redekopp, et recorded in Vancouver, was published in 2004.Leur latest album, The Con, co-directed by the duo et Chris Walla of Death Cab For Cutieis published on 24 July 2007.Il is available with a DVD chronicling the design of the album. Their song i Know i know i know, from So Jealous, was played in the series Veronica March while their songs Call It Off and Where does the good go, were played in the series Grey's Anatomy. They also made an appearance in the eleventh episode of season 3 of The L Word "last dance" playing the song "Love Type thing". The song "walking with a ghost" made an appearance in the season 2 of the series brothers Scott (One Tree Hill) and the song "Don't Confess" made an appearance in the season OTH 1, the White Stripes have resumed their single Walking with a ghost.
