Steve Miller (October 5, 1943 in Milwaukee, United States) is a singer, composer and American blues rock guitarist. Miller was born to a father amateur jazz and a mother who was a singer of jazz. Miller was a famous sponsor, Les Paul, a pioneer of the electric guitar, who encouraged him to use his skills as musician. In 1968, Miller formed the Steve Miller Band, with Miller on vocals, who recorded his first album Children of the Future, to the psychedelic style such as groups of San Francisco at this time. The second album of the group, Sailor, was the most successful, the following albums had good success but not hit. The year 1973 marked a turning point in the career of Steve Miller with the album The Joker who was popular in the United States successful, and then Fly Like an Eagle and Book of Dreams were also commercial successes.
