Sonny John Moore (born January 15, 1988), known professionally as Skrillex, is an electronic musician from the ��ngeles, California, known for his role as the former vocalist for the band post-hardcore of From First to Last. At the end of the fall of 2007, he embarked on his first tour as a solo artist, the Team Sleep Tour with Team Sleep, Strata, and the monster of the machine. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore toured North America in the Alternative Press Tour, supporting bands such as All Time Low and The Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of the annual Alternative Press the 100 bands you need to know issue. In June 2008, Moore went to the recording of their debut album, titled Bells alongside producer Noah Shain. He has recently published the Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites EP and release between labels Mau5trap and Big Beat co registration, and it runs a label called Owsla footprint, the name of an organization in the book Watership Down. Sonny Moore was raised by adoptive parents. After moving to San Francisco when only ten�a two years, received his first guitar with which he began writing songs during his childhood. At the age of 12 the family moved to the ��ngeles, where he began to visit local concerts. At age 13 he created his first band of punk call The Riots along with some friends who met during recitals. His second band, Hazel-rah, experiment a bit more on the environmental rock sound. At age 15 he met Matt Good of From First to Last offering to play the guitar in the band's next album. After flying to Georgia, Sonny was heard by three producers: Derrick Thomas, Eric Dale and Mchale Butler, thereafter became lead singer. In June 2004, Epitaph Records released the first album of the band: Dear diary, my teen angst has a body count. After several tours such as Vans Warped Tour and Dead by Dawn Tour, the band began to produce their next album entitled "heroine". The LP was released in March 2006 by Epitaph Records again. The good impact was in sales, however during Sonny touring began to suffer from problems in the vocal cords, making that the band would have to refuse to participate in certain tours.
