Min is a group of glam rock American from San Diego who was an important during the years commercial success 1980.Il is particularly known for his title hit Round and Round and Nobody rides for free in the soundtrack of the film Point Break with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. Min music is influenced by the hard rock and the glam rock of the 1970s such as Aerosmith, Sweet, Led Zeppelin, or Kiss, and mixed it with influences of Hard Rock. Min has sold 10 million records, to the United States while sales in the world are more than 18 million. Min origins in 1976 with a group of San Diego called Mickey Ratt, formed by the singer and founding member Stephen Pearcy, guitarist Chris Hager, Matt Thorr bassist, and drummer John Turner. In 1980, the group lives in Los Angeles to increase his chances of signing a contract of registration with a major label. Later in the year, guitarist Jake E.Lee joined Mickey Ratt and recorded her first single "Dr.Rock / Drivin' ' on E", given to the fans at the first concerts in clubs in Los Angeles. In 1981, the Group shortened its name and becomes min. Jake E.Lee and Chris Hager, Matt Thorr left the group to found Rough Cutt. (In October of the same year, Lee left Rough Cutt replacing Randy Rhoads as Ozzy Osbourne guitarist). Stephen Pearcy replaces bassist Juan Croucier (who comes from leaving Dokken) and guitarists Robbin Crosby and Warren DeMartini. Warren was then only 18 years old when he joined the group in Los Angeles. He was then still a student at the University in San Diego, and is initially reluctant to leave everything to join a group with limited success. In 1982, the group is now in full with Stephen Pearcy (singer), Warren DeMartini (guitar), Robbin Crosby (guitar), Juan Croucier (bass) and Bobby Blotzer (drums). In July 1983 the band released an EP on the independent label Time Coast. With this EP called simply min, the group begins to drain a public located over southern California. It contains the hit "you think you re tough". It also includes a resumption of Rufus Thomas of 1963 "' Walkin' The Dog".
