Raimund Hoghe, born in 1949 in Wuppertal, is a dancer and choreographer of dance contemporary and German stage director. Raimund Hoghe began his career by writing for the German weekly Die Zeit of portraits of people and celebrities, later collected in several books. From 1980 to 1990, it has been playwright of Pina Bausch Tanztheater Wuppertal, which provided material for the publication of two books. Since 1989, he set out to write his own plays that have played various actors and dancers. 1992, beginning of his collaboration with Luca Giacomo Schulte, who is now his artistic collaborator. It was in 1994 that he set up in person on the stage for his first Meinwà¤rts solo which forms, with separate bedroom (1997) and Another Dream (2000), a trilogy on the 20th century. In addition to his theatrical career, Hoghe regularly work for television. In 1997, on behalf of the WDR (changed television) he staged Der Buckel, a long self-portrait of sixty minutes. His books have been translated into several languages and many countries in Europe, and the Japan, the Australia and most recently the South Korea invited him to give his performances. It creates these past years Young People, Old Voices (2002), sacred - The Rite of Spring (2004), Swan Lake, 4 Acts (2005) and returns to the form of the solo with 36, Avenue Georges Mandel (2007). He lives in Düsseldorf and has received several awards, including the "Deutscher Produzentenpreis für Choreografie" in 2001, and the price of France critique in 2006 for the Swan Lake, 4 Acts show.
