Steve Ripley, lead guitarist and vocalist for the country band The Tractors, was then brought in to remix "Willin' to Walk" — the second single from Labor of Love — for radio, before the album was finally released in April 1995. Ultimately, neither "The Running Kind" nor any of the three singles from Labor of Love reached the Top 40 on the country charts.
