Kiss is a group of American rock based in Queens in New York in January 1973 by guitarist Paul Stanley (real name Stanley Harvey Eisen born in 1952) and bassist Gene Simmons (Chaim Witz born in 1949). Group and its members solo records allowed them to harvest 24 discs of gold, 9 Platinum discs and 10 multi-platine disks only for the United States. It recognizes also often Kiss for their 2,500 products derived who sell in industrial quantities, so that the "mark" Kiss was evaluated at US $ 1 billion. Kiss is regarded as one of the largest groups of hard rock and also as a precursor of the glam rock, a very popular genre in the 1980s. Training with Paul Stanley (songs and rhythmic guitar), Gene Simmons (songs and bass guitar), Ace Frehley (solo guitar and singing), and Peter Criss (drums, percussion and songs) is the most identifiable and who had the most success. With their makeup and costumes, they took a style of comic characters: the demon (Simmons), the child star (Stanley), space (Frehley) human, and human cat (Criss).
