Jon Lord, born June 9, 1941 (1941-06-09) (age 69) is a British keyboardist musician. He made his studies in music with gusto at the London Conservatory or he won 1st prize. If the album is credited for the group, Jon Lord is the sole composer and arranger. The experiment is repeated in September 1970 with Gemini Suite. In 1974, he recorded Windows that he composed in the company of Ebrhard Schoener. He also released a disc with Tony Ashton (First of the Big Band). His most recognized solo album, Sarabande, appears in 1976 with Pete York on drums and Andy Summers (future Member of The Police) guitar. Deep Purple fell apart in the same year, and it goes form with his brother-in-law Ian Paice Paice-Ashton-Lord and his friend Tony Ashton.
