In 1996, she has worked with Gerry DeVaux, the cousin of Lenny Kravitz and together with Charlie Mole, they formed Devox. The group released a Devox Featuring Angie B.Stone album, released only to the Japan in Toshiba-EMI and containing the compositions of Stone. She also sang vocals on 5, the 5th album by Lenny Kravitz, released in 1998.Elle is also involved in writing the first two albums of singer Angelo credits, Brown Sugar (1995) and Voodoo (2000), and accompanied him during his concerts as a Chorister. His love affair with the singer gave birth to a son, Michael Jr. His first solo album, Black Diamond, appears on 28 September 1999, Arista Records and eventually becoming a platinum disc. Following a second album, Mahogany Soul, October 16, 2001, was also certified Platinum, then Stone Love, July 6, 2004 on the label of Clive Davis, J Records. October 16, 2007, appears to be his fourth album, The Art of Love and War, in the legendary House Stax Records, main once concurrent of the Motown. Angie became the 1st artist of the new generation of singers Soul to be signed on the label, which counted among its ranks of the big names like Otis Redding and Isaac Hayes.
