Alan Eugene Jackson (born October 17, 1958 in Newnan, Georgia) is an American singer of country music, having sold over 50 million records. In Tennessee, Alan worked for The Nashville Network (to the postal service). Denise has put him in relation to Glen Campbell, who helped him start his career. Jackson signed eventually with Arista. His first album, released independently under Americana Records label) in 1987, is entitled: "new Traditional".
