While at Lake Oswego, Friedericks helped grow the club from a group of a dozen members to a membership of 75 with an additional 100 rowers taking classes.The Oregon State University Men's Varsity 8+ had a 10th place finish at the 2007 Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships.Traditionally, the Oregon State wrestling team has been a national powerhouse, winning their conference championship 46 times and finishing in the NCAA top ten 18 times.
