Shannon Eastin, first NFL female official

Shannon Eastin, the first NFL female official, said that though she’s a bit nervous, but she’s excited and not intimidated by the challenge of working a pro game. Her debut as line judge was Thursday night when Green Bay Packers play at San Diego.

Shannon said that this is a chance she couldn’t pass up. “I believe I am ready,” stated. “I make myself ready for any opportunity that comes my way. I will come in with my eyes wide open.” she added.

Will she succeed? Eastin insists that she’ll be working harder.
