Shakira and her boyfriend Piqué are expecting a child

It’s no longer a rumor; Shakira and her boyfriend, FC Barcelona soccer player Gerard Piqué, are expecting their first child. “As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!,” Shakira stated on her official website.
Shakira met her boyfriend in 2010 when the player was featured in Sahkira’s video music theme song “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) for the world cup that took place in South Africa.
