NBA player Matt Barnes arrested in Manhattan

The former Los Angeles Lakers player Matt Barnes was arrested in Manhattan for traffic warrant and resist of the arrest.

Reports said that Barnes’ bail set at $51,000 especially that Barnes did not cooperate with the officers and even threatened the police officer which considered a felony.

TMZ reported that the arrest was for driving on a suspended license and the officers “discovered a massive $26,000 unpaid traffic warrant”.

Matt Barnes passed last two seasons with LA Lakers, but now he’s a free agent after Devin Ebanks signed the contract for Lakers replacing him.
