Erik Walden in competition with Nick Perry at left outside linebacker

In preparation for the expected game against San Francisco Sept. 9, Nick Perry is in competitive situation with Erik Walden at left outside linebacker on the Green Bay Packers’ defense. Packers seem that they prefer Perry to be ready especially that Walden has been suspended for the opener.
Walden took the advantage of his first off-season and seems that he made a transition from the right outside to the left outside.
