Donna Summer received posthumous induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The singer songwriter Donna Summer received posthumous induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2013. Donna died early this year at age of 63 of lung cancer. Among the inductees hip hop pioneers Public Enemy, singer-songwriter Randy Newman, Canadian progressive rockers Rush, and others.
