For a joke, Donald Trump filed lawsuit against Bill Maher

If you want to make jokes; not about Donald Trump. The latter has filed a lawsuit last Monday against comedian Bill Maher for $5 million because Maher said at “The Tonight Show” that he would donate $5 million to a charity if Trump could prove he wasn’t the “the spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan.” In response, Trump said that he afforded Maher with a certificate that verified that he didn’t descend from an ape — but Maher hasn’t paid up. In reaction to the lawsuit, Maher tweeted “What?? Really? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha”

 

 

The 23 year old daughter of Tammy Knickerbocker is arrested for punching a police officer

The 23 year old daughter of Tammy Knickerbocker, the star of “Real Housewives of Orange County”, Lindsey Knickerbocker arrested after punching a police officer. Lindsey, after smashing into parked cars on Balboa Island in O.C, she fled the scene of the incident to a friend’s house. And when the officers followed to arrest her, she knocks one of them. Now, Lindsey is accused of having Four Times legal percentage of alcohol in her blood at the time of arrest.  Also, she’s charged of hit-and-run, and battery on an officer.

 

 

 

Hollywood actor Charles Durning died at age of 89

One of the exceptional Hollywood actors, Charles Durning, passed away in New York yesterday Monday at age of 89. He fought poverty, and come over any self-doubts and marked himself a remarkable actor on stage and in films. Among the films in which he participated ‘The Sting”, “North Dallas Forty”, “True Confessions” and many other films and theatrical pieces.

 

 

Ariel winter’s guardianship taken from her mother

Yesterday, a judge ruled that Ariel Winter, the Modern Family star, won’t stay under her mother’s guardianship. The mother, Chrisoula Workman is accused of emotional and physical abuse against her 14 year old child, Ariel Winter.  The latter will temporarily under hers sister Shanelle Gray until the trial that will take place in December 12.

 

 

Chris Brown and Drake sued for 16 million dollars after club fight

Entertainment Enterprises Ltd filed a lawsuit against Chris Brown and Drake fro bottle throwing and glass-flinging in greenhouse club.

Chris Brown and Drake, both have dated and been boyfriend for star Rihanna, started a violent fight in the club last June 14. The fight includes bodyguards and friends of both men, and the fight ended in a violent brawl. Brown, NBA star Tony Parker and others were injured in the fierce battle.

Due to publicity about the fight, a $4 million deal to license Greenhouse’s name for other clubs, and the club was shuttered for a while before it was reopened in July 10.

Now Drake and Chris are sued for 16 million dollars in damages for the rappers “gross negligence” and “intentional illegal acts.”

John C. McGinley joins Glengarry Glen Ross cast

The producers of David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, “Glengarry Glen Ross”, said Monday that John C. McGinley has become part of the cast. McGinley, who is known for his work on TV’s “Scrubs” and “Burn Notice,” will take the role of Dave Moss in the work.

The revival that will start Oct, 16, is directed by Daniel Sullivan, and the official opening is expected at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in Manhattan Nov, 11.

2012 marks the 30 anniversary of the play that Mamet wrote in 1982. It made its US appearance in 1984 at Chicago’ Goodman Theatre, after then it moved to Broadway where it performed for 378 times.

Katie Couric to launch “Katie” on ABC

After anchoring “The CBS Evening news” for five years, Katie Couric is preparing to star in a daytime talk show “Katie,” on ABC, though she’s dreaming to perform in a Broadway musical.

In her speech in a TV conference, Couric said that her excitement of starring in her new program exceeds the limits. This would be a program “that tackles some of the things that you think are important, that you think people want to know more about.” However, she admitted that she’s a little scary “I think I’m a little scared. If I weren’t, I’d worry” she said.
